Samer Abdelnour joins ICCLab

New PhD candidate joins base of the pyramid research programme.

We are delighted to welcome Samer Abdelnour to ICCL.

Samer has joined the team as a PhD candidate in Management at the London School of Economics in the area of enterprise, organisations, and development in postwar and conflict contexts. His research explores the interactions among NGOs during humanitarian response, and the role of community-based and collective enterprise in postwar development. He has managed numerous participatory and applied research projects across Sudan (Darfur, Southern Sudan, Blue Nile) with ex-combatants, displaced and war-affected communities.

In addition to working with ICCL, Samer is a founding member of the Foundation for Sustainable Enterprise and Development, and an affiliate of the Centre for Refugees, York University
